he much-anticipated grand opening of Garth Brooks‘ Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk on March 7. Acquiring the property at 411 Broadway in December 2021, Brooks has transformed the space formerly occupied by Paradise Park and Downtown Sporting Club.

The four-story, expansive 54,715-square-foot venue, which has seen partial openings over the past weeks, is poised to reveal its full glory during the upcoming grand opening. Notably, the establishment will also house a police substation, developed in collaboration with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

Friends in Low Places Bar keeping tradition

The first two floors will pay homage to classic honky-tonks. Featuring a custom-built, retractable live music stage adorned with the iconic “Circle G” emblem, repurposed from Brooks’ record-breaking Central Park performance, these floors boast the largest LED screens on Lower Broadway. The first floor, designed for entertainment, includes two bars, a dance floor, and ample seating. The second floor offers two additional bars and a mezzanine providing prime views of the stage below.

Elevated Experiences

Venturing upward, the third floor is dedicated to intimate private event spaces. Complete with a double-sided fireplace and an intimate patio, this floor can accommodate gatherings of up to 250 guests. The rooftop fourth floor, aptly named The Oasis, promises a high-flying experience with two full bars.

Personalities like Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks, Florida Georgia Line, and Miranda Lambert have already left an indelible mark on the lively scene.
