Old Dominion Set to Unveil Odie’s, a New Nashville Bar & Music Hub

In the heart of downtown Nashville, a fresh addition to the constellation of celebrity-backed venues fusing culinary delights, live music, and honky-tonk allure is on the horizon. Personalities like Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks, Florida Georgia Line, and Miranda Lambert have already left an indelible mark on the lively scene. Now, Old Dominion, a six-time CMA Vocal Group of the Year, is gearing up to carve its own niche.

Anticipated to open its doors in the summer of 2024, Odie’s, a brainchild of the country band, is strategically positioned in Nashville’s Midtown area, steering clear of the bustling Broadway strip often thronged by tourists. Shedding light on the location choice, Matthew Ramsey, lead singer of Old Dominion, underscores the neighborhood’s historical significance to the band:

“Midtown in Nashville has played such a role in the history of our band, from unwinding at the bar after writing sessions to performing weekly well into the early hours. It’s a crucial neighborhood not just for emerging artists and writers but also for locals or tourists seeking a reliable spot for a good time. Odie’s aims to be that neighborhood bar for everyone.”

The discreet development of this project over the past year culminated in a reported $7 million sale of the building site in May 2022. This understated approach aligns with the band’s vision to create an authentic and intimate space for patrons.

It’s a common occurrence for celebrities to surprise patrons with impromptu appearances at their venues, engaging with fans on a personal level. Given Old Dominion’s penchant for genuine connections with their audience, it’s expected that downtime will find them at Odie’s, fostering an environment where fans can relish an authentic experience with the acclaimed country ensemble.
