Jelly Roll Steals the Spotlight with Surprise Tribute and Multiple Wins at the 57th CMA Awards

The 57th annual CMA Awards, held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, witnessed country sensation Jelly Roll delivering a night full of surprises and successes.

Jelly Roll, already in the spotlight for his unexpected collaboration with Wynonna Judd on “Need a Favor,” took the stage once again for a special tribute. This time, he teamed up with K. Michelle to cover The Judds’ timeless classic, “Love Can Build a Bridge,” a track featured on the recently released A Tribute to the Judds album.

The “Save Me” singer, who expressed his excitement on social media, received a whopping five nominations for the night. Describing the evening as “magical,” Jelly Roll found himself in contention for Male Vocalist and New Artist of the Year. His chart-topping single, “Need a Favor,” was nominated for both Single of the Year and Music Video, while the collaboration “Save Me” featuring Lainey Wilson earned a nomination for Musical Event of the Year.

The awards, hosted for the second consecutive year by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, showcased the best in country music. The event was broadcast on ABC and is now available for streaming on Hulu for those who missed the live spectacle.
