‘I Had Some Help’ makes historic radio debut

Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s latest single, ‘I Had Some Help,’ made history with its debut.

The track received 167 first-week adds at country radio, marking only the second time in chart history that a single has debuted with the support of all reporting stations.

The last time this happened was with Garth Brooks’ ‘Longneck Bottle‘ in 1997.

Debuting at No. 15 on the Mediabase chart, ‘I Had Some Help’ secures its place as the second-highest debut, following Brooks’ ‘More Than A Memory’ in 2007.

What other records did ‘I Had Some Help’ break?

‘I Had Some Help’ broke Spotify’s single-day country streaming record, with nearly 14 million streams on its release day, May 10th.

It also debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Daily chart, marking the platform’s most successful male collaboration debut to date.

Additionally, the song claimed the top spot on Apple Music’s Global chart and quickly ascended to No. 1 on Pandora’s Top Thumbed chart upon its release.
